Thank you to the buyer from Palm Harbor, FL. Bimini is such a nice place to relax. I hope you enjoy your phone case, it's a nice scene to look at every day. Ed

Artist's Description

Several fishing boats are docked for the night at the Bimini Big Game Club in North Bimini, Bahamas but looking closely there is still activity in the Lower Lagoon, such as boats moving by and gulls looking for that little extra something. The Bimini Big Game Club is in Alice Town near the southern end. A couple of years ago it was a Guy Harvey Outpost and included a marina, hotel, and restaurant. It has a long and colorful history which includes a stay by Ernest Hemingway in the 1930's when writing Islands in the Stream.

About Ed Gleichman

Ed Gleichman

I've been a photographer most of my life, starting very young with a Kodak Instamatic camera. There were a few others over some years and in my mid-twenties a Canon EOS 630 (film camera) which I used extensively. Then I quit for a while. Can't say I know why, life happens. Some years ago I decided I would commit to what I knew had long been an important part of my life. It has been good in many ways, mostly because it lets me see the world around me as a place to enjoy and share. There is much that goes on around us that is negative and depressing, to say the least. It lifts my spirits to find other views that show there is much to be grateful for and much that others might find inspiring although they might never get the chance to see...
